Friday afternoon you received a community alert that two Kyrene Middle School students had been approached by a stranger. Tempe Detectives have identified, located, and arrested the suspect. Thank you to the Tempe Police Department for all of your work today to keep our children and community safe!

This afternoon you will be getting a phone call to notify you that this morning two female students from Kyrene Middle School were approached by a white male in his 20’s or 30’s driving a silver, Toyota Limited Edition RAV 4 SUV near Waggoner Elementary School bus drop off near Terrace and Lakeshore. As you may be aware, there have been other community reports of this nature in recent weeks. The police request that the community report any suspicious activity by immediately calling 911.
