We Did It - Milk and Cooke Party for Box Tops is ON!!!

Thank you all who submitted Box Tops!  We reached our goal of 5,000 Box Tops and are celebrating by giving all students a milk and cookie party during lunch this Wed, 12/11/13.  We will need some parent volunteers to help set up so the kids can grab the milk/cookie after they are done with their lunch.  You can help cover 1, 2, or all 3 lunches.

6^th – 10:30 – 11:10

7^th – 11:20 – 12:00

8^th – 12:10 – 12:50

Reminder - box tops deadline extended until Friday, Dec 6

We are trying really hard to give all students a milk and cookie party at lunch in December. The Box Tops deadline has been extended one last time in an effort to obtain just 700 more Box Tops by FRIDAY, DEC 6 to reach our goal of 5,000. Pueblo receives 10 cents per box top!  Please neatly trim all box tops. Any untrimmed box tops will not count towards grade level top 5 award.

Coordinator needed for Career Day 2014

Here is another great opportunity to become involved at Pueblo!  A parent volunteer is needed to help coordinate Career Day which will be held sometime in Jan/Feb/March 2014.  You will be asked to contact a list of people/organizations and then schedule. PTO is seeking a Co-Treasurer

Pueblo PTO is looking for an individual to act as co-treasurer.  This position requires approximately 1-2 hours of time per week.  You would be responsible for making deposits at the bank and writing checks once a week. This is a dual position, so you will be working along with the current treasurer. If you are interested, please contact Kristi Johnson at kristijohn@Hotmail.com.

Want to meet other Kyrene parents and district employees?

The PTO is seeking a  PSC (Parent Superintendent Council) representative(s) to attend 3 meetings and present a report at the following PTO meeting. There will be PTO representation from all schools in the Kyrene district. The group meets periodically to discuss events or concerns occurring in the district. It is a nice way to meet other parents and district employees. The meeting dates are listed below and all meetings are held 9:30 – 11:00 am.

- Jan 21 at Altadeña

- Feb 18 at Mariposa

- April 15 at the District Office
