Wed, Nov 13, 2013 – Pueblo Restaurant night (all day!) at California Pizza Kitchen at Chandler Fashion Center (near Harkins Theatre). Pueblo receives 20% of all proceeds, Includes dine-in, catering and take-out. Great idea for office parties! See attached flyer. A reminder to turn in your receipts to the Pueblo office for the School Cents program – this event helps out Pueblo in two ways!

2013 is the deadline to turn in Box Tops in order to count towards the cookie party! We
have 3,177 box tops so far and need a little over 1,200 more to reach our goal
of 5,000 for all students to receive a milk and cookie party at lunch in
December. Please neatly trim all box tops.
Any untrimmed box tops will not count towards grade level top 5 award.
School Cents Program – ongoing through April 15, 2014 – when you shop at Chandler
Fashion Center and
surrounding shops, turn your receipts into the School Cents box in the office.
Or stop by Guest Services any time at the mall to log your receipts with
Pueblo, and we’ll get credit for them. The California Pizza Kitchen restaurant
night counts toward this program!
Fry’s Community Rewards
Program – earn funds for Pueblo just by shopping at
Fry’s. Sign up with your V.I.P. Card at this link: http://www.frysfood.com/community/Pages/community_rewards.aspx, search Pueblo and select “Kyrene del Pueblo Middle
School PTO Organization 80533”. All you have to do is shop at Fry's and swipe
your V.I.P. Card! All participants must re-enroll each year.
Target “Take Charge of
Education” Program -Target will donate to Pueblo up to 1%
of your REDcard purchases at
Target stores in the U.S and at Target.com. Just visit www.target.com/tcoe or call 1-800-316-6142 to designate
our Pueblo for your purchases.

Banking Treasurer needed – the PTO is seeking a Banking Treasurer. Contact kristijohn@hotmail.com if interested.
The PTO is seeking a PSC (Parent Superintendent Council) representative(s) to attend 3 meetings and present a report at the following PTO meeting. There will be PTO representation from all schools in the Kyrene district. The group meets periodically to discuss events or concerns occurring in the district. It is a nice way to meet other parents and district employees. The meeting dates are listed below and all meetings are held 9:30 – 11:00 am.
- Jan 21 at Altadeña
- Feb 18 at Mariposa
- April 15 at the District Office
